Welcome to life in the slow lane. Here time dances to the rhythms of the oceans and the sound of church bells on Sunday. In fact, on a trip to Tonga you'd sometimes be forgiven for thinking time stood still. That's because, despite embracing many elements of the contemporary world, Tongans still proudly retain their authentic culture and traditions.

Many Tongans still live in village communities following tradtional dress 'ta'ovala' -  woven waist mat are commonly worn. Meat and food, vegetables are still cooked in earth ovens called Umus. And the Ceremonial tradition Kava drinking, the traditional Polynesian drink, is a very real part of Tonga life.

Tonga is the only Pacific Island nation never colonised by Foreign power. Uniquely, Tonga has also never lost it's indigenous governance.

Tongan arts and Handicrafts, including bone carving, wood carving, basket making and fine weaving made using techniques passed down through generations of Tongan craftspeople, are everywhere too. The most famous local craft is the making of Tapa, a decorative bark cloth painted with traditional
symbols and designs. Tapa is usually offered as a gift or respect at wedding, birth and Funerals.

The most important or special to me and my family is attending Church every Sunday.
We speak both Tongan and English. I don't speak much Tongan, but I understand when my parents speak the Tongan languange. So I'm working hard on doing my best to speak Tongan fluently.
How cool is that!!!

So what I was doing was I was commenting on peoples movies because it was fun watching the movies on the big screen on the big screen.

Bubbles.

Once was a girl who was wondering sadly. Until she discovered a bubble mixture bellow her toes. She didn’t exactly knew what it was but when she blew it it filled her with delight, when she blew it the second time it was even better, and when the bubbles were blown all of the bubbles formed into a even bigger one.the huge bubble floated under the girls bottom, and floated her high into the sky. When she was high as the clouds more bubbles appeared, it was so fun! Then the girl was sucked into the bubble, then the bubble went down slowly into the sea and there was fish which were beautiful. Next the bubble flew her into outerspace then back down and also when she was in outerspace she saw a star then grabbed the star dust then ate it. When she was having so much fun with the bubble she saw another lonely girl who had black hair and she was wearing a red jacket, she felt sad for the girl so she blew big bubbles as stairs to get down, then she putted down the bubble onto the sand so the girl could find it. She hided behind the rock so the girl didn’t putted it there, when she found it she was confused just like her. When the girl blew it, it made her feel delighted, she was jumping into the bubble and flew off, and she felt happy for her.

Camping In The Dark Forest Alone.

In the pitch black forest, a little boy was camping all by himself, suddenly a terrifying green monster emerged from the shining water then popped up behind the boy. Then “ah!” screamed the boy, the boys heart was pumping fast, he thought he was gonna be eaten! So he pointed his roasted marshmallow on the stick. The monster saw the marshmallow as a delicious treat, so the green monster acted like a dog, and did tricks like a dog! The boy was surprised of the monsters actions, so the boy gave him some marshmallow. But there was only one more, the boy held out the last one to the monster, then the monster couldn’t wait any longer so he went running for it and then ate it, but the boys hand was in the monsters jaw. And the boy was trying to get his hand out, but the monster was resisting. Finally the monster opened his mouth, the boy was horribly frightened so the boy was running as fast as he can because the young boy ran out of marshmallows. He ran and ran but he was trapped so he grabbed a massive pillow, then the monster was imagining the pillow as a giant marshmallow so the boy threw the pillow. The slimy monster ran for it, and then the boy made a run for it so he can get away from the monster. So the monster was all alone but he didn’t really care, all he was going to the campfire and roasting the pillow. But then the pillow burned in flames, and the monster felt miserable and depressed.

The story of my chocolate death

Under the bright shining lives a school of chocolate. But then suddenly a terrifying mysterious creature came. It grabbed me tightly and when he held me I couldn’t believe my eyes it was a human! I try‘d to escape but he was holding me to tight. Then I yelled ”Help!” But my schoolmates couldn’t hear me. But then the large human  squished me so hard that he squeezed my insides then grabbed me, he was putting me closer and closer to his large scary mouth then his big pink  tongue licked me! It was so disgusting then it was worser! He open his big  scary jaw then snap! He ate me all up and I was finally dead. And I ended up in the scary humans stomach. And that’s the story of my death.

On Monday morning the first day of school and the first ay of term 3. We went to the immersion assembly. At the immersion assembly there BBQ going on. It happened in the hall and me Room 19 and 20 went to the imm assembly to watch movies that are related to the Koreo something in the water. Then Mr Burt made an offer that if we sit up nicely we will get a cooked shrimp to eat. My favourite part   was when Mr Burt was sizzling the fish and when he was cutting dory’s cousin but I was kinda sad when Mr Burt throwd the spear dory’s cousin but  at least all the other fish were safe.

One sunny day there was a bridge made out of wood in a forest. My eyes can see flowers of ever colour and shade, and also what my eyes can see is a bridge. I feel a long skinny tree and soft green grass. What i can smell is flowers, that smell like a butterflie in a butterfly nest. I hear sounds of crickets and flies and birds chirping.

In the middle of nowhere I can see a humongous castle and a teeny tiny village. What I can feel is fresh air and autumn leave. I taste leaves that are rotten. I can smell fresh air and blood from dead animals. I can hear the wind and lots of talking.

In the panmure beach I see clouds that looks like a candy floss. I smell a sharp smell of salt. I fell fresh air. I can taste the sand I can taste a sharp salt from the water. I can hear waves and birds.

In the autumn forest I see leaves of every colour and strong tall trees. I feel fresh spring air and a warm gentle breeze. I taste golden leaves that are crunchy. I smell  fresh air and some dead crickets. I hear birds coming by and I hear leaves  crunching every time I stomp on one.

Once upon a time there lived a marvelous girl called little red ridding hood she lived in a forest shrouded in darkness. First she was walking to her nasty grandmas house to deliver muffins to her, she was walking with her father and her father brought an axe in case something happened. Next an amazing wolf came out of nowhere. Then the wolf said “hello my name is the good wolf, what’s your name?”. “My name is Little Red Riding Hood do you want to help us deliver these muffins.” “Yes” said the wolf. They kept on going but her father was missing. At least the wolf was with her. After that they fi ally arrived at the nasty grandmas house and when they came inside grandma was shocked because the wolf was with Little Red Riding Hood. Then grandma threw all the muffins at the wolf and said “ never come back you silly dog”. The wolf never ever came back to the forest again.

Shazam

This is my character Shazam the God of Lightening. Shazam has a cap with lightning logo on it. He uses the cap to fly so fast in the sky so he can find out where the villains are located. Shazam has a godlet form Thanos. He stole it from Thanos. Actually he was about to destroy half the world when he snaps his fingers and half the world will disappear. Shazam has a red suit that is special. It has armour in it. When he punches it hurts their hand and they run away because the armour is too powerful And it is made of steel. 

Shazam’s favourite thing to do is to save the world and fight crime. One time the bank alarm was going off and he  was checking it out but he couldn’t find the person. The money was missing from the bank. The bank manager begged Shazam to get the money back. So he did. What he had to do was he saw a guy with lots of money in his hand and it was the banks money. He had green hair, a purple shirt and red red lips. It was Joker. “Joker what are you doing here? Your not supposed to take money from the bank.” “ What do you mean Shazam, you will never take this off me. I won’t ever let you have it” said Joker. ”you won’t get away with this Joker”. Shazam used the infinity god,et that he stole from Thanos. He tried getting if from him but it didn’t work. He tried throwing it but it didn’t work. Hahahahahaha all this weapons are pathetic, but he didn’t notice that Shazam had Captain America’s shield. So he threw it....hahahahaha. Captains Americas items are lame and then he said “no way that can come back it’s just a toy one. But he realised it was rea and it came back. He looked at it and he went unconscious and he said “ you will pay for this”. 

Thats why Shazam’s personality is fighting crime and saving the world . Shazam is kind and good and he gives out great energy.

How Alex and Zach Became Friends

Once upon a time there lived an rusty old robot called Alex. He lived in a junkyard, it was filled with old scrap metal and filled with old newtroniks. He looked like a old light he had a cassette tape on his body and red springs on his right leg and a a metal pin on his left leg. One dark night Alex was walking thro the junkyard. First he saw two plugs one was a computer plug and the other one was a wire. Next Alex try’d To get the computer plug to make it his friend but the computer plug and the wire were best friends. Then Alex put down the computer plug back down then Alex walked away with sadness. Alex climbed onto a broken car he found a plug he try’d to plug it to his hand but he got zapped! Year Five and Six camp

On Monday morning we we To tents on the large rugby field. We’d past the enormous tent it was filled with year 5s and 6s And  delicious Food!  We looked inside of the tents on the outside the tents it was red and silver it looked cool because it was so amazing they went to go swimming and play great games.

Floor is lava challenge.

On a one sunny morning we went to the basketball court. We pretended to play floor is lava! We’d played for fun and for good writing we were playing with the half of Room 20 and half of Room 19. First we were waiting for our cobblestone. Next we started the floor is lava challenge the best part is When me and my team worked Together. Me and Maddie were in the lead then me and my team tried to avoid the bubbleing lava because if we’d touched the lava we would die and go allow way back to the start. Minecraft is my group and we won the first round, I was so anoyed because my team fell into the flamming lava. After that fairytale kids won the second round. Finally it was the last round! We tried our eat to not fall in the bolling lava we were near the finish line we were two feet away from the finish line then we won the last round! I felt fantastic and marvellous because I won the last round Then we walked back to class to do our writing.
